SOLGM Local Government Excellence Awards

New Zealand Post Local Government Excellence Awards

SOLGM has been involved in running the Local Government Excellence Awards in a variety of forms since 1999. From 1999 until 2007 the Awards were sponsored by new Zealand post and were known as the New Zealand Post Management Excellence Awards. From 2008 until 2012 they were known as the New Zealand Post Group Local Government Excellence Awards. In 2011 they became the SOLGM Local Government Excellence Awards with GHD sponsoring the GHD Supreme Award.

2011 SOLGM Local Government Excellence Awards

The winners of the 2011 SOLGM Local Government Excellence Awards were announced by President Clare Hadley on 7th November 2011 at the SOLGM Conference in Rotorua. The winner of the GHD Supreme Award was announced by Sara Dennis, Management Consulting Group Manager GHD.

2010 New Zealand Post Local Government Excellence Awards

New Zealand Post Management Excellence Awards 1999-2007

The New Zealand Post Management Excellence Awards were offered for 11 years until 2007. They were the most longstanding feature of SOLGM's programme for the promotion of good practice in local authority management.
