Horizons Regional Council - "Big Green RIG Mobile Education Facility"
 

Described as ‘part-cellphone part swiss-army knife’, the high-tech RIG is energy efficient (well insulated, uses passive cooling, with low energy LED lighting and energy efficient appliances throughout), generates part of its own power needs (from a bank of roof-mounted solar panels), is broadband and web-connected (via an on-board satellite connection and public internet kiosks), has all the latest tech toys (GPS positioning and dashboard web cam feeds to the Green RIG website and on-board videoconferencing capability) and is an inviting social space with optional 10m diameter inflatable outdoor dome attachment, seating, pullout BBQ and umbrella shade.

Manawatu District Council - "Project Automation"

The introduction of Project Automation at the Manawatu District Council has allowed an easy, cost-effective modification of the previous reporting process system. The time-saving for managers in gathering budget figures for their quarterly activity reports, and in quality control verification, through Project Automation, has been significant.
