Material from November and December 2004 Seminar Series
A series of 6 regional seminars was organised on behalf of the SOLGM Financial Management Working Party, the Office of the Auditor-General and Audit New Zealand to assist local authorities to prepare for the implementation of the new financial reporting standards (NZ IFRS). Material was presented at the seminars that was developed by PWC for SOLGM based on a pilot study with Christchurch City Council.

As part of the seminar programme questions about the process of conversion to NZ IFRS were collected from discussion groups of participants. Subsequently answers to these questions were developed by staff of AuditNZ, the Office of the Auditor-General, and PWC. Download Questions and Answers.
