UPDATE (June 2009):
The version published in June 2009 is effectively a totally new version of the module. The previous version was in the form of a series of guidance notes which were created to assist local authorities to prepare for the introduction of and initial data upload into the NDD. For the latest version we have worked with the NDD National Administrator to update the content of the module. At the same time we have re-designed the entire module to now represent current good practice. Review of the Module was undertaken by NDD National Administrator and Simpson Grierson.
Specific changes include that:
-
Guidance Notes converted into Good Practice Flow Diagrams, Analysis Tables, Hot Tips, Legal Compliance, Forms & Templates etc.
-
The Module has been interfaced with the current NDD National Administrator Systems (i.e.: explains the interface with the 'DIA' and what action results from this interface).
-
Module has been hyperlinked to current Pdf Versions of the Standard Lists and Prescribed Forms.
-
Data tables have been produced explaining the requirement for all Mandatory and Voluntary Data Fields.
-
Hot Tips are numbered.
-
Legal Compliance references produced in new format & hyperlinked to legislation.
-
Pdf templates & forms are available where appropriate in the Module.
Accordingly we recommended that existing hard copies of the previous version should be discarded and replaced.
